Cindy Stites, MAMFC, LPC
Cindy has been part of the staff of His Story Coaching and Counseling since 2011. She enjoys working with individuals, couples and families. She also enjoys leading small groups.
A native Texan., Cindy attended Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas, where she participated in student council and tennis. After graduating, she attended college at Texas Christian University where she was part of the International Students Association. While at TCU, she had the opportunity to study in Salzburg, Austria. Cindy completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1989.
After working in the corporate world, Cindy chose to stay home to raise her two children and focus on volunteer work. She was an active member of PTA, church and community organizations, and several mother’s support groups. She also substitute taught and counseled women at a local pregnancy center.
Cindy returned to school to pursue a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She completed her master’s degree in the spring of 2010.
Cindy is an avid learner, continuing to pursue additional training in stress, trauma and in couples therapy. She is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, Christian Association of Psychological Studies, and Christian Counselors of Texas.
Cindy and her husband of 22 years enjoy the outdoors, traveling, spending time with their family and are avid sports fans.
