D’Anna Sims, LPC

D’Anna is a Licensed Professional Counselor who counsels individuals, couples, and families. She has experience helping people with anxiety, depression, self-harm, family conflict, parenting, stress management, grief, boundaries, trauma, and relationship issues individually and in group settings. She is passionate about helping people navigate through grief resulting from any kind of loss. She enjoys working with couples and strives to help them resolve differences and form a strong foundation within their relationship. Her desire is to provide compassionate support in a safe and comfortable setting. D’Anna is a certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

She has a Master of Education degree in Counseling and Human Development from Hardin-Simmons University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Howard Payne University. Prior to her job as a counselor, she has worked as a teacher in a public school classroom, in a support staff role at her church and as a volunteer in various areas of ministry.

D’Anna and her husband of 18 years enjoy traveling, spending time with family and raising their children together.
